About Us

In December 2003, GRACE Center was formed as a not-for-profit in the mind and heart of founder, Jessie Pearce. The purpose of GRACE Center is to assist and advocate on behalf of the elderly and ther families in the Greater Kansas City area. It was developed as a result of the personal experience she faced while caring for her mother. She recognized the need to have a centralized location for families and the elderly for information, assistance, guidance and advocacy. Thus GRACE Center was born and named after Ms. Pearce's mother: The Center's vision is to offer these services, with guidance, integrity and respect lessening the stress and concerns of caring for an elderly family member:

Current Services:
Advocacy/Intermediary Resource Center Durable Medical Equipment (bath transfer chairs, bath chairs, etc. at no charge) In-home Safety Evaluations: If an elderly or a family member wants to have an evaluation done, obtain doctor's referral, and our OT will do the evaluation, will have any work or changes done, and them will notify the the family and the doctor in a report. that way the medical provider is kept aware of what is going on with his patient.
